Hello, my name is Deplume.
This is the bit where I try and describe myself.. eek!
I am 26 and aside from my two gorgeous ratties;
I have a beautiful daughter, and a very spoilt OAP cat called Alistair.
I live in a tiny house in the UK. It's always hectic, but as long as my menagerie is fine, I am a very happy lady.
I've been around rats since I could toddle. My mum bred them and I was always fascinated with the mad, whiskery things on her shoulders.
As I got older, and became more responsible, I started to keep them myself.
I've had guinea pigs, mice, a cat, a rabbit, and even a pet locust, but (and don't tell the cat this..)
Rats really do make the most amazing companions..
My only wish is that they lived as long as cats do!
